How to become a enrolled nurse in Australia
Enrolled nurses provide nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
The work

Hospitals, aged care and community health, on rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
Licensing and registration
Enrolled nurses must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia through Ahpra before they can practise. Registration standards are set by the Board.

The qualification usually used to enter this work
The usual entry qualification is Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121), a nationally recognised qualification on the national register. The registered training organisations approved to deliver and issue it are listed on training.gov.au.
