Vocational education and training, VET, is the practical half of the Australian system. These qualifications are built around doing the job rather than studying the theory of it, and many of them lead to licensed or registered occupations. Edmark Education is an education agent. We are not a registered training organisation: we do not deliver training and we do not issue qualifications. Nationally recognised training is delivered and issued by registered training organisations, which are listed on training.gov.au. What we help with is the decision and the application — comparing providers, understanding the visa and licensing requirements that apply to you, and preparing an application that holds together.
An application fails on detail far more often than on grades. We build your document set, check every transcript and English result against the institution's own criteria, and submit to several providers in parallel so you are not waiting on a single answer. From there we chase admissions on your behalf, talk you through each offer, and handle acceptance, tuition payment and your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). Institutions also ask you to explain yourself in writing: why this course, why now, how it follows from what you have already studied or done, and where you expect it to take you. Strong English and a community-language credential both open doors, and both reward preparation. We help you work out which test suits you, what score to aim for, and how to prepare for it, then support you through booking and results. PTE Academic is accepted by every Australian university, and the NAATI CCL test recognises applicants who speak an eligible community language.
The Professional Year Program runs for 44 weeks and combines classroom learning in Australian workplace practice with a 12-week internship at a host company in your field. Completed with an approved provider in an area related to your degree, it gives you something a transcript cannot: a line of real local experience, which is often the first thing an Australian employer looks for. To enrol you generally need a Temporary Graduate (subclass 485) visa and a bachelor degree or higher from an Australian institution in accounting, IT or engineering, recognised by the body that governs your stream: ACS for IT, CPA Australia or CA ANZ for accounting, and Engineers Australia for engineering. Because the program takes about a year, apply at least 12 months before your visa expires. We help you check your eligibility, compare the approved providers, and time your enrolment so it fits your study and work plans rather than cutting across them.
