From first consultation to receiving an offer typically takes 4–8 weeks, depending on the institution and intake period. We recommend starting at least 3–6 months before your intended start date to allow time for visa processing.

Both! We offer face-to-face consultations at our Sunshine, VIC office as well as video calls and phone consultations for students anywhere in Australia or overseas. The quality of service is the same regardless of format.

The Group of Eight (Go8) is a coalition of Australia's eight leading research universities: University of Melbourne, ANU, University of Sydney, UNSW, University of Queensland, Monash, University of Western Australia, and University of Adelaide. They are consistently ranked among the world's top universities.

Universities offer bachelor's, master's, and PhD programs with a focus on theory and research. TAFEs (Technical and Further Education) offer practical, vocational training through certificates and diplomas. Many students use TAFE as a pathway to university with credit transfer.

Requirements vary by institution and course level. Generally, undergraduate programs require an IELTS score of 6.0–6.5, while postgraduate programs may require 6.5–7.0. We'll check the exact requirements for your chosen course and advise on test preparation if needed.

Yes. Finding and winning funding is one of our specialities. We screen your eligibility for every relevant scholarship, grant and fee discount and help you apply.

There are merit-based scholarships (for academic excellence), need-based scholarships (for financial hardship), government-funded scholarships (like Australia Awards), university-specific scholarships, country-specific scholarships, and field-specific scholarships. We help you identify which ones you qualify for.

We recommend starting at least 6–12 months before your intended enrolment date. Many scholarships have early deadlines and competitive application processes. The sooner you start, the more opportunities you can pursue.

Full scholarships are competitive but absolutely available, particularly through programs like Australia Awards and some university-specific schemes. Most students receive partial scholarships that significantly reduce tuition fees. We'll be upfront about your chances and help you maximise your application.

Course and institution selection, your document set, applications to several providers in parallel, offer comparison, acceptance and tuition payment, your Confirmation of Enrolment, OSHC health cover, and pre-departure support through to your first day on campus. One advisor stays with you across all of it, so you are never re-explaining your situation to someone new.

Yes. Student visa holders can work up to 48 hours per fortnight during study periods, and unrestricted hours when the course is not in session, per the Department of Home Affairs. Many students work part time to support living costs, though we would not recommend planning your budget around it.

Two different numbers matter here. For your visa you must show access to $29,710 per year for living costs, which is the Department of Home Affairs financial capacity requirement and is not negotiable. What you actually spend is a separate question, and it depends on the city, the suburb and how you live. The Australian Government's Study Australia cost of living guide is the place to check current figures, and we will work through your own numbers with you.

Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is mandatory health insurance for international students in Australia, covering essential medical and hospital services. You must hold it for the full length of your visa. Cost depends on the provider, the level of cover and the policy length — typically $500 to $700 per year for single cover. We help you compare providers and arrange your policy.

Absolutely. We provide full pre-departure support covering accommodation, health cover, banking and orientation, plus ongoing help throughout your studies.

Yes. Research students have access to funding that coursework students do not, including Research Training Program (RTP) scholarships from the Australian Government, university-funded research scholarships and industry-partnered PhD stipends. Amounts and stipend rates are set by each university and change year to year, so check the current figures with the university and we will help you identify and apply for everything you are eligible for.
