- Prepare surfaces and mix render
- Apply and level coats by hand and machine
- Form arches, cornices and decorative finishes
- Patch and repair existing plaster
Where the work happens
Building sites and occupied buildings, indoors and outdoors. Overhead work is common.
Typical qualification pathway
The qualification usually used to enter this work
The usual entry qualification is Certificate III in Solid Plastering (CPC31020), a nationally recognised qualification on the national register. The registered training organisations approved to deliver and issue it are listed on training.gov.au.
